I haven’t blogged much lately. I have been busy, and we have actually had some pretty big news! If you were meant to know what that news is, than you already know!
Today we went to Gainesville to do some shopping before we headed to Bonham to pick up Tanner. We had a really fun day. Stephen and I spent the entire day at the outlet mall. We busied ourselves by looking in nearly every store. He found quite a bit of stuff–plaid shorts, t-shirts, a mavericks jersey, and even some pearl snap shirts. He found some sun glasses that he liked, but he put them back because he thought that they were too expensive. I disagreed and wanted him to get them, but he decided against them anyway.
We looked at rings at Zales–which was my favorite part. I tried on several, and I even kind of liked one. However, we left empty handed–which was okay. I want to shop around before I finally decide on one. I really love the vintage style engagement rings, and this one that I liked was a three stone traditional ring. I am content to wait until I find the perfect ring. I know, though, that we are on our way to being engaged–how exciting. I doubt that we will get married for a long, long time. Our lives are already linked together in a very permanent way, and neither of us feel the need to really rush it.
After shopping, we went to eat dinner. We had a good dinner with great food, and then we finished the drive to pick up Tanner. I was really glad to see his little face. It is amazing how much I miss him when he is gone for a few days.
Driving home was uneventful–except for this cloud that was perfectly shaped like a heart. It was really pretty, and we saw it as the sun was setting. I left my digital camera at home, but I tried to catch a picture of it on my phone. I will see if it turned out, and I will post it if it did.
